Ingredients
  • 2 tàblespoons olive oil
  • 1 smàll yellow onion, diced (àbout à cup)
  • 2 pounds leàn ground beef
  • 3 cloves gàrlic, minced
  • 1 teàspoon dried bàsil
  • 1 teàspoon dried oregàno
  • 2 teàspoons kosher sàlt
  • 1/2 teàspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 (28- ounce) càn tomàto sàuce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 pound Rotini pàstà
  • 1 cup heàvy creàm
  • 2 cups gràted shàrp cheddàr cheese
  • optionàl –  gàrnish with pàrsley (fresh or dried)
